Hortinet
HortiNet is an internet based electronic service offered by APEDA to the stakeholders for facilitating certification & traceability of a number of fresh horticulture produce, covering Grapes, Pomegranates, Mangoes, Vegetables, Betel Leaves, Citrus Fruits, Onions and many other fruits for export from India in compliance with the standards identified by NRC Pune, on the basis of consultation with the exporters. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) have been evolved to address the Farm Registration, Residue Monitoring, Lab Testing, Grading, Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary requirements of major importing countries like European Union, USA, Japan, etc.,
HortiNet collects, stores and reports – forward and backward traces and quality assurance data entered by the stakeholders, ie., exporters, laboratories and PSC authorities within the supply chain in India.
While APEDA makes all efforts with regard to proper functioning of the Hortinet, it does not assume any responsibility, direct or indirect for any error or omission, which may occur on account of improper or wrong information entered into the HortiNet by its users, nor would APEDA be responsible in any manner for any discrepancy or resultant trade loss of revenue or trade. The sole responsibility for verification and validation of the genuineness and correctness of the data captured and certifications issued lies with the stakeholders who have entered their respective data.
Grapes
GrapeNet is an internet based electronic service offered by APEDA to the stakeholders for facilitating testing and certification of Grapes for export from India in compliance with the standards identified by NRC Pune, on the basis of consultation with the exporters. GrapeNet collects, stores and reports – forward and backward traces and quality assurance data entered by the stakeholders, ie., exporters, laboratories and PSC authorities within the Grapes supply chain in India.

Mango was initiated in 2006-07 as a first of its initiative in India in the Indian Fresh produce sector. Vegetables
India has immense potential to export vegetable baskets, vegetable production in India stand on 2nd rank after China. For Exporters Exporters can be only export if they have sourced the vegetable from registered farmers. Registration of the farmers can be carried out by Pack house or State horticulture Dept. After that the Exporter creates a "lot" under an APEDA approved pack house and enters the details about the product procured from the farmer or suppliers. Once the lot is created, the Exporter enters the packing details of each lot in the system and forwards the lot for testing to APEDA accredited laboratory.
