BHARATI Business Challenge 2026: APEDA Announces Top 100 Startups for Its First Cohort of the Export Enablement Acceleration programme

APEDA is pleased to announce the Top 100 startups selected under the BHARATI Export Enablement Acceleration Cohort following a highly competitive Business Challenge held on 8 January 2026 at Indus Food 2026, Greater Noida.

 

Startups from across India pitched before a distinguished jury comprising industry experts, exporters, startup mentors, academicians, investors, and representatives from State Agricultural Universities (SAUs).

 

From this rigorous evaluation, the Top 100 startups have been selected for cohort onboarding, and the Top 10 will represent India at select global trade events.

BHARATI Export Enablement Acceleration programme: List of Startups Shortlisted for Business Challenge

APEDA is pleased to announce the list of 195 startups shortlisted for participation in the BHARATI Business Challenge, scheduled on 8–9 January 2026 at Indus Food, India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida, NCR, New Delhi, India.
These startups have been selected after a rigorous national evaluation process covering innovation, export readiness, qualitative assessments, and category-specific screening across:

  1. Agri-Food Startups
  2. Export-Enabling Technology & Services Startups
  3. SPS Challenge Solution Providers

The application window for APEDA’s Export Enablement and Acceleration programme for Startups (BHARATI) closed on 10th November 2025

We thank all applicants for their enthusiastic participation. The evaluation of applications is currently underway, and the list of startups shortlisted for the next round of evaluation will be announced soon.

APEDA to Host Panel Discussion at World Food India, New Delhi on September 26, 2025

APEDA is proud to host an exclusive Panel Discussion on the theme “From Farm to Foreign – Viksit Bharat Ambition: How Startup-Driven Innovation Can Power India’s Agri-Food Export Surge and Make India a Pioneer of the Future” at the World Food India 2025 in New Delhi. The session, scheduled on 26th September 2025 from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM at Hall No. 17, Bharat Mandapam, will also mark the official launch of the application process for the BHARATI programme, India’s first export-focused startup acceleration initiative. The discussion will bring together thought leaders, innovators, and industry stakeholders to explore how startups can drive growth, global competitiveness, and future-ready transformation in the agri-food sector.
