The Fispal Food Show at Sao Paulo, Brazil is one of the biggest food trade fairs in Latin America to be held on 25th – 28th June’2012 focusing on speciality and gourmet food and bringing together all the segments of food service industry. The show is organized annually in Sao Paulo, Brazil for trade, commerce and interest in the specialty food industry.

It is considered by many trade experts as the place to be for any one wanting to establish a presence in the Latin America specialty food business. Business booms at these trade-only shows, in a unique decision - maker-to –decision-maker environment. The show organizers claim that 85% of all attendees either authorize or recommend purchasing decisions.

Considering the potential of Latin American market as an excellent business opportunity for international companies. APEDA has proposed to participate in this event. We are planning to organize specific promotion for Basmati Rice and Processed Food Products during our participation in this event.

Further, it is also proposed to promote Indian Food products like; ready-to –eat food/ curries, soups , honey, spices and herbs, fresh/ frozen fruits & vegetables , chutneys, pickles, herbal tea and basmati rice.

The interested exporters are requested to send their confirmation at the earliest along with the details of the products to be displayed during the exhibition.

In case, you are not interested to participate directly, you may send your product samples/ Literature for display during the show to this office or our head office at New Delhi.

MDA assistance can also be avail for participating in the above show subject to approval of Govt. of India. The application can be submitted through APEDA’s website www.apeda.gov.in on or before 14 days prior to departure from India. A copy of MDA guidelines is enclosed for your ready reference please.
