The local initiatives to promote quality labels and innovative products for cheeses, meat and fibers could help Swine/Pigs, Rabbits, Horse, Camel, Primates, etc in keeping a role for sustainable development in an eco-friendly environment all over the world.
Areas of Production:
The major areas for Swine/pig Meat production are Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha and Maharashtra. (Source: DAHD)

India is the largest exporter of Other meat to the world. India has exported 701.80 MT of other meat to the Bhutan for the worth of Rs. 16.93 crores/ 2.18 USD Millions during the year 2022-23 (Source: DGCIS)
