SEOUL Food & Hotel’2009, Korea’s longest established food trade show is set for new records for expansion in a market that consistently shows solid and reliable growth . South orea’s resilent economy, Asia’s third largest economy continues to expand at rates well above the international average. Over the past three decades Korea has enjoyed an annual average economic growth rate of 8.6 percent and has emerged as the world’s 11th largest trading nation.

Considering India’s tremendous potential for some of the food products such as processed fruits and vegetables, floriculture, mango pulp, guargum, dehydrated fruits & vegetables, poultry products, dairy products, alcoholic beverages, honey etc. which has good scope for export to Korea. APEDA has decided to participate in the above important event to be held in Korea from 13th – 16th May’2009. APEDA has taken an area of 45 sq. mtrs. in this event.

We hereby invite you to participate in this event through APEDA stall. Even, if you are not able to visit personally or depute your representative during the exhibition along with the product range and their complete details for one to one discussions with the overseas buyers, you can still send your samples upto 30 kgs along with publicity material for display at APEDA stand. Please ensure that the product samples along with publicity material and price list in FOB value in US$ are sent to us by 30th April’2009 positively so that the same can be consolidated and despatched on time. Considering the limited space, it may not be possible to accommodate all the exporters. Hence, you are requested to confirm your participation by 30th April’2009 positively so that final shortlisting can be done on the basis of quality of product, its packaging and demand in the Korea market etc. It may please be noted that the participation thru APEDA stall would be subject to submission of request for participation along with the complete product details by the deadline indicated above.
