APEDA has been receiving requests regularly from its member exporters regarding the difficulty faced by them in getting the certificate for human consumption. The matter was taken up with Food safety & Standards Authority of India,(FSSAI), New Delhi. According to FSSAI, any exporter requiring certificate for human consumption may approach them with an application form(given below). The exporters are advised to contact FSSAI for getting the certificate for human consumption.
