Dear Certification Bodies (accredited for US NOP certification),

The US National Organic Program has published instructions for certified operations on how to change certifying agencies.

This document is attached for your reference and this norm is required to be followed from immediate effect. The CBs are requested to inform their operators accordingly. This norm is also available on the NOP website on the Document Control Master List.

We are also attaching the NOP norm for green waste approval in organic production system which is also required to be followed by the CBs operating for NOP certification.

If the above two norms are not followed, it will be considered as major NC of the CB certifying as per NOP standards
