Sub: “Regulation of export of fresh grapes to the European Union through control of pesticide residues” for the 2006 grape season – Amendment 4. |
Dear Sirs, Vide Amendment – I issued by APEDA on January 27, 2006, a revised Annexure – 11 (list of pesticides to be analysed) was circulated. S. No. 63 indicates a pesticide called 'Flusilazole' and MRL value indicated is ‘#’ meaning, thereby, that no MRL value exists. However, a clarification was provided that a provisional MRL value of 0.5 mg/kg. will be followed for export of grapes to the EU, UK and The Netherlands. We have now been informed by NRC-Grapes, Pune (NRL) that the MRL value for Flusilazole would be 0.05 mg./kg. for The Netherlands. This has been done after observing that 0.05 mg./kg. is a general MRL fixed by the Dutch laboratories at the LOQ level and is mentioned under the category 'All'. In light of the above a revised Annexure – 11 applicable for export
of grapes to the European Union during the current season is enclosed. |
Yours faithfully,
S. Dave |
