Dear Sirs,

Director, Horticulture, Govt. of Maharashtra, has informed
that close to 20,000 vineyards in Maharashtra have been registered for
export of grapes to the European Union during the year 2005-06. As per
the procedure, regular inspection is required to be carried out by the
State Govt. officials. To facilitate this, the State Govt. has designated
291 officials of the State Govt. for this purpose. A list of all these
inspecting officials is enclosed. The break-up of the 291 officials is
as follows :
